Bahrain-Turkish cooperation discussed

Manama, June 28 (BNA): Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Minister Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf received Turkish Ambassador to Bahrain Kamal Demirciler and discussed efforts to develop bilateral relations and bolster cooperation if different fields, hailed strong friendship between Manama and Ankara.  The minister and the Turkish envoy discussed the implementation of memoranda of understanding which were signed between the two countries. They explored the possible contribution of Turkish firms in urban and construction projects in Bahrain, particularly building bridges and infrastructure schemes.  They discussed a proposal to build a comprehensive exhibition in Bahrain to serve businessmen from both countries and promote investment opportunities.  They also outlined opportunities for training and coordination to exchange expertise in the sectors of infrastructure, agriculture, fisheries, aquaculture and the protection of marine resources.
