Bahrain-UK ties praised

Manama, Apr. 4 (BNA): National Guard President His Highness Lt-General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa today received the British Defence Senior Advisor for Middle East, Sir John Lorimer, and his accompanying delegation. HH Shaikh Mohammed praised the bilateral friendship spanning many decades, citing the UK defence ministry’s efforts in consolidating the bilateral cooperation. The two sides reviewed several topics of shared interest, especially relevant to the military field. Sir John Lorimer praised the Bahrain-UK deep-rooted historic relations, affirming his country’s steady intensification of efforts at all levels to achieve the region’s strategic security and maintain Bahrain’s growth and development.
