Bahrain-US cultural cooperation discussed

Manama, July 31 (BNA): President of Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa received the US Ambassador to Bahrain William Roebuck and discussed with him ways of boosting bilateral cooperation mainly in the cultural field. She thanked him for his efforts to support Bahrain’s cultural momentum, lauding the presence of the US embassy in Bahrain Summer festival. She also briefed him on the latest developments in Bahrain’s cultural movement, pointing out various scheduled functions. The US ambassador commended BACA’s efforts in enriching the cultural momentum at the local and regional level, praising constructive cooperation between BACA and the US embassy during Bahrain Summer festival. He underlined the importance of culture in building communities, praising Bahrain’s rich cultural heritage.
