Bahrain-US ties discussed

Manama, July 19 (BNA): Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan received the Ambassador of the United States to the Kingdom of Bahrain, William V. Roebuck. The two sides explored means of boosting existing cooperation, asserting the importance of advancing the bilateral relations, especially in the field of labour affairs and social welfare, and expanding the bilateral ties in this aspect, in addition to coordination of stances at international functions. 　 The ambassador praised the deep-rooted friendship ties between the United States and the Kingdom of Bahrain, affirming his country's keenness on developing the aspects of constructive and fruitful cooperation at all levels in the manner that fulfills the mutual interest of both countries and peoples.
