Bahrain-US ties praised

Manama, Dec. 14 (BNA): Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa today received Ambassador of the United States to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Justin Hicks Siberell. During the meeting, the minister welcomed the ambassador, praising the strong historical relations between the Kingdom and the United States, which are flourishing and developing at all levels. The minister added that this reflects upon the strategic alliance between the two countries and their keenness to expand cooperation in all fields, in order to promote common interests, meet the aspirations of both friendly countries and peoples and support their efforts to bring peace and security to the region. For his part, the ambassador stressed his country's keenness to promote close relations with Bahrain and to strengthen cooperation frameworks for the benefit of the two countries and friendly peoples, wishing the Kingdom continued progress and prosperity.
