Bahrain women’s strides highlighted

Cairo, Nov. 6 (BNA): Supreme Council for Women (SCW) member Afnan Alzayani participated in the 29th conference of the International Federation of Business and Professional Women International (BPW International Congress). Egyptian President Abdul Fattah Al-Sisi patronized the congress under the theme “Women’s Economic Empowerment towards achieving sustainable development goals”. Alzayani took part in a discussion session under the theme “World Leaders for Women Empowerment to achieve sustainable development goals”. She highlighted the Bahraini women’s landmark strides in all fields, stressing economic achievements and support to businesswomen through outstanding programmes. More than 600 participants from 60 countries are taking part in International Federation of Business and Professional Women International (BPW International Congress), being held in an Arab country for the first time.
