Bahraini ambassador to France presents his credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Vatican

Vatican, Oct. 27 (BNA): The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the French Republic, Dr. Mohammed Abdulghaffar Abdullah, today presented his credentials to His Holiness Pope Francis, Pope of the Vatican, as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the State of the Vatican, residing in Paris.
The Ambassador conveyed to His Holiness, the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, stressing the importance of further strengthening relations between the two countries at all levels.
Dr. Mohammad Abdulghaffar Abdullah also affirmed to His Holiness that the Kingdom of Bahrain pursues a policy of peace, tolerance, openness and dialogue, noting that the Kingdom is looking forward to the expected historic visit he will pay on November 3rd.
For his part, His Holiness expressed his pleasure at paying his first visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, looking forward to participating in the "Bahrain Forum for Dialogue: East and West for Human Coexistence". His Holiness congratulated the ambassador on his appointment, noting that he will receive all support for the success of his diplomatic mission.
