Bahraini ambassador meets with Indonesian Foreign Ministry official

Jakarta, July 16 (BNA): Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Republic of Indonesia, Ghassan Mohammed Adnan Sheikho, today met with Director of Human Rights and Humanitarian Affairs Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Ahsan Al Habib. During the meeting, Ambassador talked Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa Award for Bahraini Women Empowerment and its important role in supporting the achievements of women worldwide and expressed hope that the Republic of Indonesia would participate in the nomination for the award. Mr. Ahsan Al Habib expressed great appreciation of the continuous efforts of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women, for pushing for equal opportunities for Women and Men and for the award’s important role in empowering women in various sectors.
