Bahraini-Danish cultural cooperation discussed

Manama, Feb. 13 (BNA): President of Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, received in her office at Bahrain National Museum today Danish Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, residing in Riyadh, Ole Emil Moesby. They discussed means of boosting cultural relations between Bahrain and Denmark. Shaikha Mai highlighted the main urban and cultural projects in the Kingdom of Bahrain, pointing out the Danish architects contribution to the cultural infrastructure in the kingdom. The Danish ambassador praised the Bahraini cultural work, hailing the efforts of BACA in preserving Bahrain’s cultural landmarks. He paid a visit to the Centre of Arts where he got informed about the joint art gallery “Sherif and Sherif” which features the works of artists Abdulrahim Sherif and his son Hesham Sherif.
