Bahraini-Egyptian Summit outcomes lauded

Manama, Apr 28 (BNA): Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al-Mulla today said that the cooperation agreements and memorandums of understanding produced by the Bahraini-Egyptian Summit will contribute to promoting development and prosperity in both countries. The Speaker stressed that the Bahraini-Egyptian Summit emphasizes the strength of the historical relations bonding the two countries. He highlighted the Bahraini leadership's support for all Egyptian steps taken to maintain Arab region's security, stability and unity. He paid tribute to Egypt's firm stances against the external interference in the internal affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and its efforts in countering terrorism, extremism and violence. He praised Egypt's leading role in defending Arab and Islamic issues.
