Bahraini-Egyptian talks on investment in food security

Manama, Apr 6 (BNA): Egypt's Agriculture and Land Reclamation Minister Dr. Issam Al-Fayed has told Bahrain News Agency (BNA) that a high-level Bahraini economic delegation scheduled to visit Egypt to learn about the leading agricultural projects, chiefly the one and a half million acres cultivation project in southern Egypt, as well as discussing investment opportunities to enhance food security. On the sidelines of his participation in the annual meeting of Arab financial agencies being held in Bahrain, the Egyptian highlighted the investment opportunities available for Bahraini investors and businessmen to benefit from in the agriculture and aquaculture projects in Egypt to meet domestic market needs. He expressed optimism about uplifting economic cooperation among Arab countries, mainly in food and agriculture domains.
