Bahraini-Kuwaiti endowment cooperation discussed

Manama, May 11 (BNA): Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA), Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa, today received a delegation of Kuwait's Awqaf Secretariat General led by Acting Sec-Gen Raed Khalid Al-Khurafi. Ways to reinforce bilateral relations and cooperation in Awqaf field were discussed. SCIA Deputy Chairman stressed keenness to boost relations with the world Islamic religious bodies to promote Islamic issues. The Kuwaiti delegation gave an overview of the Kuwaiti Awqaf future plans, and hailed the SCIA efforts in promoting values of tolerance, moderation and unity among Islamic sects.
