Bahraini-Kyrgyz relations reviewed

Manama, Apr. 12 (BNA): Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohamed Al Khalifa today met the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, Arlan Abdul Daif on the sidelines of the 13th Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to be held in Istanbul in the Republic of Turkey on 14 -15 of April 2016. The meeting reviewed the ways to cement the bilateral relations with the Republic of Kyrgyzstan in different areas in order to promote common interests and further enhance cooperation between the two countries in international fora, as well as to increase coordination on all issues. For his part, Arlan Abdul Daif expressed his appreciation and pride over the progress of the ties between Kyrgyzstan and the Kingdom of Bahrain, reiterating his country's resolve to have a very strong and mutually beneficial relationship. He invited Shaikh Khalid to visit Kyrgyzstan in line with both sides' good will to strengthen relations between the two friendly countries. Talks also extended to cover topics on the agenda of OIC Summit, the latest regional and international developments, and issues of common interest.
