Bahraini-Omani parliamentary cooperation discussed

Muscat, Apr. 12 (BNA): Representatives Council Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al Malla met with Chairman of Oman's Council of State Yahya bin Mahfoudh Almantheri, as part of the official visit of Bahrain's parliamentary delegation to Oman. They discussed ways of bolstering bilateral cooperation in the legislative field as well as regional issues of common interest and the need to unify the Arab parliamentary stance towards them. Both sides lauded growing relations between both countries thanks to the care of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Sultan Qaboos bin Said. The Omani Council of State Chairman lauded the reform steps and initiatives of HM the King as well as the kingdom's development march, commending strong bilateral parliamentary cooperation.
