Bahraini press role in defending national gains underscored

Manama, May 23 (BNA): Shura Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh today received Bahraini Journalist Association (BJA) Chairman Tariq Al-Amir and Deputy Chairman Sayed Zahra. Al-Saleh commended the Bahraini press role in accentuating the national gains achieved in the era of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He stressed the Shura support for Bahraini journalist to continue highlighting the citizens' aspirations and defending their gains. He called on Bahraini journalists to focus on tackling unity and national issues and emphasizing the national achievements and gains. He urged journalists to explore the accuracy of information to convey an objective and meaningful message that reflects the credibility of the Bahraini press.
