Bahraini-Qatari human rights cooperation welcomed

Manama, May 17 (BNA): National Institution for Human Rights (NIHR) President Dr. Abdulaziz Abul has received a delegation of Qatar's National Human Rights Committee (NHRC) led by Sec-Gen Maryam bint Abdullah Al-Attiyah. Dr. Abul welcomed cooperation with NHRC in the interest of the two countries, lauding its active participations in the international forums. He presented an overview of NIHR responsibilities and role in bolstering and protecting human rights. He pointed HM the King's support for attaining NIHR noble goals. Al-Attiyah stressed keenness to promote the NIHR efforts through providing training programmes to serve joint goals.
