Bahraini-Russian cooperation praised

Manama, Apr. 12 (BNA): Industry, Commerce and Tourism Minister Zayed R. Al Zayani affirmed the keenness of the Kingdom of Bahrain's leadership and government to boosting Bahrain's relationships with all countries of the world, noting the depth of bilateral ties with the Russian Federation Republic. This came when the minister received the Ambassador of the Russian Federation Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Vagif Garaev in the presence of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA)'s Assistant Undersecretary for GCC and Western Countries Affairs, Dr. Zafer Al Imran, and Dr. Nabil Al Assoumi the board chairman of Bahraini-Russian Friendship Society along with several society board members. The two sides explored and reviewed various relevant topics pertaining to the bilateral ties, with focus on economic relations and encouraging atmospheres that the government provided to boost numerous developmental programmes making Bahrain the perfect environment to embrace international projects in various fields. The minister cited the joint efforts exerted by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism on the one hand and the Russian Embassy on the other which contributed considerably in boosting the efforts of the governments of both friendly countries to benefit from economic cooperation ties and to develop them in the form that fulfills the aspirations of both countries and achieve the interest of both peoples.
