Bahraini-S Korean health cooperation discussed

Manama, June 7 (BNA): Chairman of the Supreme Health Council (SHC) Lt-Gen Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa has received a South Korean delegation within a framework of activating cooperation in line with the memorandum of understanding signed between the two countries in March 2016. SHC Chairman pointed the government's directives on benefiting from foreign expertise targeting promoting health sector and improving health services. SHC Sec-Gen Ibrahim Al-Nawakhtha said that the Korean delegation has conducted a number of visits to the health sector prior to the implementation of health information systems. The delegation will also develop a comprehensive study on Bahrain's needs for health insurance system.
