Bahraini-Saudi cultural cooperation discussed

Manama, (BNA): President of Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA), Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa, received Saudi Ambassador to Bahrain, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmalik Al Sheik, and discussed boosting cooperation and benefiting from the cultural and social convergence, in addition to creating joint cultural projects. The BACA President said the cultural movement with Saudi Arabia witnesses the strength of the longstanding human bonds between the two kingdoms. She noted the Saudi role in enrichening the Bahraini cultural scene. The Saudi Ambassador praised the BACA’s role in animating Bahrain’s cultural scene, pointing out Bahrain’s celebration of Muharraq as Capital of Islamic Culture 2018, which will effectively contribute to promoting ties among Arab and Islamic nations.
