Bahraini-Saudi fraternal relations praised

Manama, May 9 (BNA): National Guard Staff Director, Maj- Gen Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa today received a Imam of the Quba Mosque of Medina, Sheikh Saleh bin Awad Al-Moghamsy. The National Guard Staff Director hailed the deep rooted fraternal relations bonding the two kingdoms in all fields. He lauded the role of Bahraini and Saudi imams in the dissemination of Islamic principles and the culture of tolerance and piloting the religious discourse toward reinforcing national unity. Al-Moghamsy, following the meeting, held a lecture attended by National Guard Staff Director and a number of officers and personnel. He talked about the culture of moderation in Islam and the need to correct the intellectual deviation in the early stages.
