Bahraini-Saudi fraternal relations praised

Al-Khobar, Aug 2 (BNA): Governor of the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia HRH Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud has received Director General of the King Fahd Causeway General Organisation (KFCGO), Abdulrahman bin Saad Al-Yahya, who presented the 29th annual report for the fiscal year 2015. The Eastern Province Governor praised the fraternal relations between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain backed by keenness of the two leaderships to constantly develop them. He pointed the keen interest of the Saudi government to provide best services to travelers across the causeway. KFCGO Director General gave a detailed explanation of the development and expansion projects carried out by the KFCGO to keep pace with modernization and streamlining of the traffic movement across the King Fahad Causeway. The 2015 annual report includes the number of vehicles and trucks crossed the causeway in both directions that topped 10,427,541, at a daily rate of 28,569, marking an increase of 6.23% compared to 2014. And the number of travelers across the causeway reached 23,646,748, at a daily rate of 64,786 travelers in both directions, marking an increase of 5.8% compared to 2014. Also included in the report the total number of travelers across the causeway since it was first opened in 1986 until the end of 2015 amounted to 305,402,045 in both directions.
