Bahraini-Saudi relations lauded

Manama, Mar. 4 (BNA): Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh lauded strong and deep-rooted historical relations between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia thanks to the care of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. He was speaking as he received today his Saudi counterpart Shaikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Shaikh and his accompanying delegation. Al Saleh hailed the visit which embodies fraternal ties binding the two brotherly countries, stressing that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia represents a strategic economic, political, security and military depth for Bahrain. He pointed out that bilateral legislative cooperation is an extension of the distinguished relations between the leaderships of both countries. The Shura Council Chairman expressed thanks and appreciation of the Support of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Bahrain, stressing the need for continuous coordination between the Shura Councils of both countries at the regional and international level to serve common interests. The Saudi Shura Council Chairman lauded solid fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries, praising Bahrain’s key role in the region as well as diversity and harmony of its people in confronting various challenges.
