Bahraini-Saudi relations role model for fraternity, solidarity'

Manama, Oct. 5 (BNA): Information Affairs Minister, Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi, has lauded the solid long-standing Bahraini-Saudi relations, being a role model for Arab fraternity and Islamic solidarity.
The exemplary Bahraini-Saudi ties testify to the solidity and strength of complementarity among countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) towards unity, in light of the far-sighted vision and wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, he said.
While receiving here today the Saudi Ambassador to Bahrain, Dr. Abdulla bin Abdulmalik, the minister voiced pride in the brotherly Bahraini-Saudi relations which, he said, are based on mutual love and respect, kinship bonds, unity of religion and language, common destiny and shared keenness on bolstering their ties for the best interests of their peoples.
Al-Romaihi lauded Saudi Arabia's dedicated efforts to maintain regional and global security and stability, and champion just Arab and Islamic causes, as well as its noble humanitarian stances in support of many countries.
Bahrain will always recall Saudi Arabia's honourable supportive stances towards its security, stability and democratic march, and sacrifices for the sake of protecting GCC and Arab security, he added.
The minister affirmed that Saudi Arabia's initiatives in support of peace, stability and development at the regional and international levels, and defence of Islam and Muslims are appreciated and a source of pride among all GCC and Arab citizens, and across regional and global circles. In this regard, he highlighted the massive participation in the Saudi-led Islamic Alliance to Fight Terrorism, and Saudi-led Arab Coalition to support legitimacy in Yemen.
The Saudi Ambassador expressed thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Information Affairs for his interest in enhancing media cooperation between the two brotherly countries. He wished Bahrain further progress and prosperity under the leadership of HM the King.
