Bahraini-Saudi ties lauded

Manama, Aug. 3 (BNA): The National Guard's Director of Staff, Major-General Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa, today received Advisor at the Saudi Royal Court, Dr. Saad bin Nasser Al Shathri, praising the two countries' fraternal ties in all fields. Dr. Al Shathri lectured in the National Guard's mosque at Al-Sakhir in the presence of the National Guard's Director of Staff and several officers and personnel, stressing the need to clarify the moderate image of Islam ranging from everyday behaviors to most significant matters. Al Shathri expressed his gratitude to, and appreciation of His Highness Lt-General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa the Commander of the National Guard for the provision of the opportunity for him to meet with his Bahraini brethren at the National Guard. He also expressed his gratitude to, and appreciation of, the National Guard's Staff Director Major-General Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Saud Al Khalifa's good efforts and keenness on organising and following up religious awareness programmes for National Guard affiliates. The National Guard's Advisor for Religious Affairs Dr. Rashid bin Mohammed Al Hajri attended the meeting.
