Bahraini Women's Day Committee convenes

Manama, May 10 (BNA) – Sec-Gen of Supreme Council for Women (SCW) Hala Ali-Ansari, Governor of Bahrain Central Bank Rasheed Al-Maraj, today co-chaired a meeting of the High Coordinating Committee for Bahraini Women's Day, which will be held on first of December under the theme "Women in the financial and banking sector." The meeting discussed the ongoing preparations for organizing the conference which will be held in November 2015 entitled "Women in the financial and banking sector .. Leadership of change". It reviewed associating activities and awareness workshops that will focus on the reality of Bahraini women's presence in financial and banking sector, as well as challenges could be encountered. It highlighted the opportunities available to attract Bahraini women to financial and banking sector. HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of HM the King and SCW President, has announced that 2015 Bahraini Women's Day will celebrate Bahraini women in financial and banking sector.
