Bahrain's Embassy in Jakarta holds ceremony marking National Days

Jakarta, Dec. 13 (BNA): The Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Republic of Indonesia held a ceremony to celebrate the Kingdom of Bahrain’s national days, in commemoration of the establishment of the modern Bahraini state as an Arab and Muslim country founded by Ahmed Al-Fateh in 1783, the anniversary of its full membership in the United Nations and the anniversary of His Majesty the King's Accession to the Throne. The ceremony was held at the Four Seasons Hotel here, in the presence of the Minister of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises, Dr. Teten Masduki. The ceremony was also attended by the Deputy Speaker of the People's Consultative Assembly of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Arsul Sani, the Former Foreign Minister of the Republic of Indonesia, Dr. Alwi Shihab, the Chief of the Sharia Court within the framework of the Indonesian Supreme Court, the Director for Middle East Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Achmad Rizal Purnama, Arab and foreign ambassadors accredited to the Republic of Indonesia and a group of diplomats and Gulf, Western and Indonesian invitees.
