Bahrain's model human rapprochement highlighted

Manama, Mar. 4 (BNA): The King Hamad Global Centre for Peace Coexistence Board of Trustees Chairman Dr. Shaikh Khalid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa affirmed that the Centre aims to act as the conveyance bridge of Bahrain’s model of peaceful coexistence, mutual respecting and humane rapprochement. Dr. Khalid's remarks came as received today the Kuwait-residing Ambassador of Austria Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain Dr. Sigurd Pacher. He said such meetings will boost the centre’s relationship with similar centres around the globe which will boost the external and international work pivot which is considered the most significant of the centre’s activity to achieve its global mission. President of This is Bahrain Society, Betsey Mathewson, who is also second deputy chairman of the centre’s board of trustees, highlighted Bahrain’s advanced laws and legislations that support its role in boosting the community coexistence that reflects the vision and philosophy of His Majesty the King in this field. She gave a detailed overview to the Austrian ambassador about Bahrain’s Universal Declaration document and the society’s major accomplishments in various countries. The ambassador expressed his admiration of the Kingdom’s persistent efforts to promote peaceful coexistence and tolerance projects, primarily topped by the King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence, hoping to organize joint events between the Bahraini and Austrian sides to exchange expertise and to achieve cultural entente, as Austria will celebrate in the forthcoming days the 100th anniversary since Austria began hosting the Muslim community.
