BAN Set Up To Help State Governments Promote Tourism

IPOH (Perak, Malaysia), April 21 (Bernama) -- National Artistes Front (BAN) was set up as a platform for artistes to help state governments promote tourism products, said its president, Mizal Zaini (AC Mizal). He said the organisation was also open to anyone involved in the entertainment industry. "The step was taken to support any state government promote various programmes such as Visit Perak Year 2012. "BAN was also set up to help senior artistes to be active again in the entertainment industry," he said when met after the launching of BAN at Hotel Riverfront, here, by Perak's Chief Minister Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir, on Saturday. Other than supporting state governments, the programmes that would be carried out by BAN would also enable members to increase their income, he added. -- BERNAMA
