Bangladeshi Found Murdered In Shophouse

KUALA LUMPUR, April 7 (Bernama) -- A Bangladeshi national managed to call his housemate that there were people knocking on the door before he was found dead with a slash wound on the neck in a four-storey shophouse in Jalan Kuchai Maju 13, Kuchai Lama here on Saturday. The body of the 23-year-old Bangladeshi was found by his housemates at about 10am after receiving the emergency call from the victim. Brickfields deputy police chief Supt Aida Abdul Hamid told reporters on Satrday police believed the death was related to robbery. "The two rooms in the house were ransacked and police believed the criminals came to rob before killing the victim," she said. The body of the unemployed had been sent to Universiti Malaya Medical Centre and the case was being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code. --BERNAMA
