BBS President wins award

Manama, July 3 (BNA): Female lawyer Huda Al Mehza, the President of Bahrain Bar Society (BBS), has won the 2016 International Commercial Arbitration Award for the Middle East. The honour will be conferred on her in an international conference on alternative ways to settle international disputes which will be held in Cairo under the sponsorship of the Consultative Centre To Prepare The International Arbitrators (CCA) in the Middle East. The BBS President hailed the achievements of Bahraini women at all levels thanks to the support of the leadership and Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Wife of HM the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW). She dedicated the award to the leadership and HRH Princess Sabeeka, describing it as the dividend of the efforts made in women empowerment. She also pledged more support to Bahraini lawyers by providing the best training sessions in international arbitration.
