BDF Chief receives UK Defence Senior Advisor to Middle East and North Africa

Manama, Nov. 9 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, received at Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS 2022) today the UK Defence Senior Advisor to the Middle East and North Africa, Air Marshal Martin Sampson, and his accompanying delegation. The meeting, held on the sidelines of BIAS 2022, was attended by Minister of Defence, Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Alnoaimi, and Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Dhiab bin Saqr Alnoaimi. The BDF Commander-in-Chief welcomed Air Marshal Martin Sampson and reviewed with him historic relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries and ways of bolstering them. He wished him a good stay in Bahrain to attend the sixth edition of BIAS 2022 which is considered as a good opportunity to exchange experiences and get updated about the latest technologies in the aviation field. The meeting was attended by General Command Court Director, Major General Hassan Mohammed Sa’ad, Commander of the Royal Bahrain Airforce (RBAF) Air Vice-Marshal Shaikh Hamad bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Military Cooperation Director Air Vice-Marshal Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman Al Khalifa and BDF senior officers.
