BDF Commander-in- Chief inspects joint drills units

Manama, Feb. 4 (BNA): Bahrain Defence Force Commander-in-chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa today was briefed on preparations for the live ammunition joint exercise "Power of Determination" and inspected the participating commands, units and weapons. The joint exercise will be held under the royal patronage on February 5 with the participation of forces from the BDF, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates. The BDF Commander-in-chief said the joint drill will contribute to raising combat readiness and operational and tactical capabilities through the exchange of expertise and field skills among the participating forces. He expressed delight in the Saudi and UAE participation, saying carrying out joint exercises promotes military cooperation and joint action among the same forces.
