BDF commander-in-chief lauds Shaikh Nasser's achievements

Manama, Sep. 17 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, has congratulated the National Guard Commander, Brigadier-General HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, on completing all stages of the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Chattanooga, USA, in the 27th place among 3,000 triathletes from around the world. The commander-in-chief lauded the honourable results achieved by HH Shaikh Nasser, reflecting Bahraini athletes’ distinction, determination and ability to compete and reach the podium. Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa saluted HH Shaikh Nasser for his outstanding accomplishments throughout his sports career. The constant care of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa AL Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, and unwavering support for the Bahraini youth and sports movement has contributed effectively to the innumerable sports achievements attained by the Kingdom, he said, valuing highly the accomplishments of Bahraini athletes in various sports.
