BDF, Interior, National Guard coordination acclaimed

Manama, Apr 19 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today paid a visit to Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) – General Command. He was received by Commander-in-chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Defence Affairs Minister, Chief of Staff and a number of senior officers. HM the King paid tribute to the BDF personnel's readiness to stand shoulder to shoulder with the Interior's security men in their fight against terrorist groups targeting security patrols. HM the King expressed deepest condolences to the Interior's staff and the family of the victim who sacrificed his life in the line of duty. He prayed to God Almighty to rest his soul in eternal peace and to grant his family and loved ones patience and solace. He wished the injured a quick recovery. HM the King welcomed the local, Arab and international condemnation of the terrorist act. He praised the close cohesion among the people of Bahrain who sincerely condemned the terrorist act, which highlights their solid national unity. HM the King also lauded the joint coordination and cooperation between the BDF, Interior Ministry and National Guard, and their readiness to defend the homeland, people and residents, as well as guarding the national unity and development march. HM the King stressed that Bahrain will always be secured and invincible thanks to its loyal soldiers, wishing the Bahraini people further progress and successes.
