BIAS 2022 announces dynamic forum program

Manama, Oct. 19 (BNA) : The Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS) will include an exhibition showcasing the latest aircrafts, technologies, and innovation from across the global aerospace industry, and a forum. The event will be held under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and under the supervision of HM the King’s Personal Representative His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, President of the BIAS Supreme Organizing Committee. The sixth edition of the show will deliver a dynamic thought leadership platform as part of its three day events, as well as networking and business development opportunities. The organizing committee has announced the forum program, taking place on November 10-11, which will discuss Airports and Airlines, Cargo and Logistics , Women in Aerospace and Space. "We’re delighted to announce the forum program for BIAS 2022, which constitutes a very important part of the Airshow. It is one of the major draws of the event and serves as an important platform for facilitating industry cooperation around topics that are paramount to its sustainable growth and advancement. With an impressive group of participants and expert speakers in attendance, we will be exploring important themes and trends from across the industry. We will also be giving attendees an unparalleled opportunity to hear from and engage directly with market leaders on the topics that matter most," Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications Mohamed bin Thamer AlKaabi said. The forum will take place on days two and three of the event in show’s Exhibition Hall, providing future focused content and facilitating the exchange of insights and knowledge on the latest trends shaping global aerospace and aviation today. The panel discussions are designed to specifically serve as an exchange platform, where senior aerospace executives from the GCC and international companies collaborate to bring issues of mutual interest, With the presence of civil and military delegations from the Gulf region and beyond. The programme includes senior representatives from well-known aviation organizations, such as Boeing, Lockheed Martin, IATA, Gulf Air, Bahrain Airport Company, Air Arabia, , UAE Space Agency, Orbital Space, Airports Council International, KPMG, International Space University, Magdrive, and DHL Global Forwarding. The 4th Manama Air Power Symposium (MAPS 2022), will also be held prior to the Airshow on November 8, for invited Air Chiefs and military personnel.
