Big Chemical Factories of DPRK Increase Production

Pyongyang, March 16 (KCNA) -- Big chemical factories in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea are vigorously conducting a drive for increased production. The Namhung Youth Chemical Complex has produced several thousand tons of fertilizer every day by strengthening cooperation among production processes and putting the production on a scientific basis of higher level. The Hungnam Fertilizer Complex has increased the daily output of fertilizer as compared with the same period of last year through a collective innovation movement. The February 8 Vinalon Complex, too, has operated lime kiln and calcium-carbide furnace in a scientific and technological way, thus effecting an innovation in producing intermediate goods for vinalon. -0-
