Blow to international crimes by Turkish Police

ANKARA (A.A) - February 8, 2012 - Turkish Police conducted successful operations against international drug traffickers in recent years. According to the Turkish Security Department, Turkey cooperated with various countries ranging from the Far East to South America, and from Africa to Western Europe. In operations conducted against international criminal organizations in the past five years, Turkish Police confiscated a total of 2,200 kilograms of heroin, 35 kilograms of cocaine, 14,942,218 captagon pills, 657,715 ecstacy pills, and 10,451,100 bottles of fake alcoholic beverages.
