BMS, RCSI sign cooperation agreement

Manama, May 11 (BNA): Bahrain Medical Society (BMS) and the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI), in the presence of President Lt. General Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al-Khalifa of the Supreme Council of Health, have signed a memorandum of understanding aims to promote cooperation in various medical fields. Under the MoU the RCSI students will be engaged in the BMS activities. The MoU also stipulates the exchange of administrative expertise and boosting academic cooperation and doctor development training programmes. In addition to holding joint scientific researches and forums. BMS Chairman Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Rafi said that BMS seeks to hold fruitful partnerships with various health and medical institutions in Bahrain, including educational institutions.
