BNA director-general receives Chinese ambassador

Manama, July 24 (BNA): Director-General of the Bahrain News Agency (BNA), Ahmed Mohammed Al-Mannai, received here today the Chinese Ambassador to Bahrain, Anwaer Habibullah. Al-Mannai welcomed the Chinese envoy, and wished him every success in carrying out his diplomatic duties to enhance the solid relations between the two countries and their friendly peoples. He also lauded the steady progress of relations between the two countries at all levels, thanks to the wisdom and policies of their leaders. BNA director-general discussed with Ambassador Anwaer areas of cooperation and coordination between BNA and China’s Xinhua News Agency, especially regarding the exchange of visits and expertise. The Chinese ambassador expressed thanks and appreciation to BNA director-general, stressing his keenness to enhance BNA-Xinhua cooperation and coordination, particularly in the exchange of news. BNA chief and the Chinese envoyed toured the BNA building. The ambassador was informed about BNA’s various deparments and work mechanisms.
