Books on late Thai King become best sellers

BANGKOK, October 25 (TNA) - Books on the royal biography, projects and activities of late His Majesty King Bhubimol Adulyadej have become best sellers. Charun Homthienthong, President of the Bangkok-based Publishers and Booksellers Association of Thailand (PUBAT), told journalists on Tuesday that the Book Expo Thailand 2016, the 21st of its kind, came to an end on October 24, with all books on the late and beloved Thai King were sold at the highest volumes. Charun said the 11-day grand book fair, held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre (QSNCC) in Bangkok, attracted over 1.7 million visitors from all walks of life, most of whom are the younger generations and their families' members. According to the PUBAT president, international visitors are also welcome to the 45th Thailand Book Fair Week and the 15th Bangkok International Book Fair, set to be held at QSNCC during March 29-April 9, 2017.
