Boosting Bahraini-Bangladeshi economic cooperation welcomed

Manama, May 23 (BNA): A delegation of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI)'s Bahrain Asian Traders Committee (BATC), chaired by vice treasurer Mohamed Sajid, has met with Ambassador Rahman Momen of the Republic of Bangladesh at the Embassy. The BATC delegation expressed keenness to strengthen cooperation by exchanging visits among trade delegations and participating in economic activities to be held in Bangladesh for the development of partnerships among businessmen of the two friendly countries. The delegation briefed the Ambassador on the details of the BATC forum intends to hold during current year. The delegation invited the Ambassador to attend a business forum to be held following Ramadan that aims to enhance relations between Asian businessmen and their Bahraini counterparts. The BATC Committee suggested the nomination of Bangladeshi businessmen to join the committee as consultants. Bangladeshi Ambassador welcomed establishing cooperation with BCCI. He lauded the BATC efforts in boosting cooperation with Asian countries.
