Boosting Bahraini-Muritanian relations reviewed

Manama, June 14 (BNA): The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, has received the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, Dr Isselkou Ould Ahmed Izid Bih. The minister reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of developing these ties in all fields, in addition to a number of regional and international issues of common interest. He expressed his pride and appreciation for the brotherly relations between the two countries, affirming the keenness of Kingdom on improving these ties to promote the common interests of both countries and to contribute to the development of the Arab joint action, highlighting the hosting of the meeting of the Arab League at the summit level in its 27th session which will be held in the Islamic Republic of Mauritania in July, wishing the minister every success for this meeting to come up with results in favor of Arab issues. Dr. Isselkou Ould Ahmed Izid Bih expressed his happiness to visit the Kingdom of Bahrain and meet with the Foreign Minister, wishing the Kingdom further progress and prosperity. Shaikh Khalid hosted an Iftar in honor of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania and his accompanying delegation. (Courtesy of MoFM)
