Broadening Bahraini-Philippine cooperation stressed

Manama, Nov. 27 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, today at Gudaibiya Palace, received the Philippines’ Presidential Special Envoy to the GCC countries, Dr. Amable Aguiluz. The Philippine Envoy conveyed greetings of President Rodrigo Duterte to HRH the Premier.  HRH the Premier extended his greetings to the Philippine President and wished the people of the Philippines further progress and prosperity.  HRH Premier lauded the growing bilateral relations in various fields, which reflect the depth of friendship relations between the two countries and their leaderships.  HRH Premier stressed Bahrain’s keenness to broaden cooperation with the Philippines in economic, trade and investment areas in favour of joint interests.  HRH the Premier praised the outcomes of his visit to the Philippines and meeting President Duterte, noting the memorandums of understanding signed during his visit that enhanced cooperation between the two countries. He called for intensifying official visits for broadening cooperation at various levels.  The Philippine Envoy welcomed HRH Premier’s keenness on bolstering bilateral relations, underlining his country’s interest in boosting cooperation.
