Call to address negative social phenomena

Manama, July 16 (BNA): The Southern Governorate staged a workshop on (Negative social phenomena in the governorate) attended by representatives of government and private sides.  Director of Social Programmes and Community Affairs, Fatima bint Hassan Al-Ghattam, pointed out the need for addressing the negative social phenomena seen in the governorate, most notably the street vending and begging. The workshop stressed the importance of promoting social partnership for improving social services provided to the governorate’s citizens.
