Call to hold central prayer in Manama denied

Manama, June 17 (BNA): The Capital Governor, Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa said today that in response to social media posts calling for a central prayer at Al Sadiq Mosque in Qufool on Saturday, there were contacts as part of the Ministry's community partnership, with the persons running the operations of Mr Abdullah Al Ghuraifi who denied calling for the event, stating he would not participate in such a prayer. All illegal gatherings will be dispersed, the governor added.
