Canadian High Commission's Visa Office Transferred To Singapore
KUALA LUMPUR, May 24 (Bernama) -- Residents and nationals from Malaysia
wanting to visit or emigrate to Canada can send their visa applications at a
new location following the closure of the office in Kuala Lumpur, the Canadian
High Commission said.
It said that applicants should now submit their applications directly to the
High Commission of Canada in Singapore.
More information is available at
http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/singapore-singapour, the High Commission
said in a statement here Thursday.
"The closure of the office in Kuala Lumpur does not mean that services are
no longer available," it said.
The High Commission said that applications that have already been submitted
at the visa office in Kuala Lumpur will be processed to completion, where
possible while all other applications will be transferred to the visa office in
Singapore.
Applicants are not required to contact the visa office to follow-up on their
applications but would be contacted directly by the visa office processing the
applications, the High Commission said.
