Capital Governor hails Bahraini women

Manama, Dec.2 (BNA) – A tribute was paid to Bahraini women for their crucial role in their country’s development and progress. Capital Governor Shaikh Hesham bin Abdulrahman Al-Khalifa paid the homage marking the annual Bahraini Women’s Day, being held this year under the theme “Women working in the engineering field”. He congratulated Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa, Wife of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) and all Bahraini women marking the 10th anniversary of the Bahraini Women’s Day. He saluted Bahraini women working in the engineering sector for their competence, hailing the Kingdom’s dedication and years-long efforts to empower women to integrate into all fields and assume leading positions in the public and private sectors.
