Capital governor lauds AUB's role

Manama, Mar.15 (BNA): Capital Governor Shaikh Hesham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa has praised the contribution of the Ahli United Bank (AUB) to society through supporting community projects and programmes, which reflects AUB's role at driving development in order to serve the best interest of Bahrain and its people. The Capital governor visited AUB and was received by AUB Group Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director Adel El-Labban. The governor presented a book on photos from Manama's history, which was implemented with the support of AUB and was prepared by the governorate in partnership with a group of experts. It included rare and old photographs from Manama. The governor expressed pride and appreciation in the strategic partnership with AUB and said that its support plays a pivotal role at serving the goals of sustainable development. He affirmed governorate's keen interest in sustainable projects and programs that meet the citizens' needs. El-Labban praised the diversity of activities and programmes organised by the governorate, reflecting the level of joint partnership and cooperation to achieve the desired national and social objectives of citizens and residents.
