CBB Sukuk Al-Salam Securities fully subscribed

Manama, Aug. 16 (BNA): The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) announces that the monthly issue of theSukuk Al-Salam Islamic securities, has been fully subscribed by 100%. Subscriptions worth BD 43 million were received for the BD 43 million issue, which carries a maturity of 91 days. The expected return on the issue, which begins on 22ndAugust2018and matures on 21st November 2018,is 4.02%compared to3.94% for the previous issue on 18th July 2018. The Sukuk Al-Salamare issued by the CBB on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain. This is issue No.208 (BH00012B7P87) of the short-term Sukuk Al-Salam series.
