Chemical sector's exports up

ISTANBUL (A.A) - February 7, 2012 - The exports of chemical sector increased 10.93 percent in January 2012. Istanbul Chemical Materials & Products Exporters' Assembly stated on Tuesday that the exports by the sector rose 10.93 percent to 1.3 billion USD in January 2012 when compared to January 2011. Chemical sector ranked the second after automotive sector which made the highest exports from Turkey. Chemical sector's exports had increased 29 percent and reached 16.3 billion USD in 2011. The sector made the most exports in January 2012 to Egypt, China and United Arab Emirates.
